When we teach our children to shift the energy in their body, rather than to avoid it, they learn the fundamentals of emotional regulation.

Our all new, exciting, carefully considered extension to Village Kidz is finally coming to life as ‘Village Babes’. Offering weekly stimulation classes in a safe, nurturing environment for parents with babies from 4 to 24 months.

A great opportunity to gain knowledgeable insight regarding your child’s growth and developmental milestones, all whilst having hands on practice of these skills under close guidance and support. This time offers you a chance to bond with your child, as well as to communicate and connect with other parents.

Our curriculum, and the activities involved have been carefully curated by a team of specialists including Teachers, Educational Kinesiologists, Speech Therapists and more, ensuring all of the foundational phases of a child’s growth and development are covered in depth.

Rhythm and Ritual decrease the ‘unknown’ in a child’s day which soothes the nervous system, resulting in a rebalance of their core being. We will be exploring a variety of skills and activities such as sensory stimulation, music, massage, movement and fine motor manipulation, all aimed at aiding and supporting your child through self-regulation.

Our interactive classes will provide us all a chance to be open with sharing our understanding and experiences together. The facilitators will be paying close attention to Early and Primitive reflex integration, a vital cornerstone in forming a child’s early learning process.

The Village Babes workshops will run for one hour per week in accordance with the Village Kidz school term. Regular guest speakers will be in attendance to further enhance our program and parental support.

We look forward to sharing this exciting journey with you and your little ones!

“If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”
